Members' time saving research pages
Finding the raw material that feeds the design of learning events of all types takes time, that most limited of resources.
Here you can access my own sources, that have taken decades to find, to adapt and meet your own needs.
If only you had the time to read the books that really ought to be read.
The good news is I summarise books, and I make these available to my members.
A mixture of classics such as 'The Fifth Discipline', 'Time to Think' and others, more mainstream.
As well as my own, I have found, and present before my members summaries of books by others.
Next addition: Susan Cain's 'Quiet - the power of introverts in a world that can't stop talking'.
Dozens of blogs on and round the usual, and often far from the usual topics.
Coaching, leadership, learning, decision making, organisational ineffectivess and more get the treatment.
More added regularly.
Monthly updates and share file links on new blogs and all other new additions to the member's area.
I regularly scan top-end publications for learning from reading, saving these as pdf files.
Members can access this growing resource via access to subject specific files.
Save the hours I have spent tracking these down.
See also the article summaries, membership gives you a lot of access to time saving material.
I am currently organising these into bibliographies - let me know if you need access ugently.
I read (yes really, every word) a lot of selected articles on a wide range of topics of interest.
To counter 'read and forget' syndrome, as with books, I write then type up direct quotes of most impact.
The time is worth it as otherwise those hours would be wasted, to keep a permanent record.
My article summaries are all over 20,000 words, running to more than 50 pages of A4.
This resource is rich, and I am continuously working on these, adding more regularly.
Closely related to this section of the Member's Area are my adaptable learning resources.
A lot of my learning material has been developed directly from my research activity.
My Podcast 'The Learning Ear' has over a 100 episodes published, with more added weekly.
A mix of solo efforts and 'learning conversations', these are a deep dive into key issues and topics.
I welcome member collaboration to showcase and share expertise.
I am summarising these, and will make them avalilable as a member benefit.
Prompts from members on issues of most interest are of particular value.
